Letters of intent have been received from Molly Hill (pitcher/Wayne, Neb.), Meghan Mullin (outfielder/Mesa, Ariz.), Brittany Pascale (catcher, Frankfort, Ill.) and Crystal Carwile (first baseman/outfielder/Chino, Calif.).

"We are very proud of the 2005 class," Revelle said. "They are athletic, excellent students and outstanding citizens. I know our fans will really enjoy watching the newest Huskers. We believe this signing class would measure up with anyone's in the country."

Hill, the lone in-state recruit of the class, was the named the honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald’s All-Nebraska first team as a junior and senior and also earned first-team Super State honors from the Lincoln Journal Star. In her senior season, Hill threw 222 innings in leading Wayne High to the Class C state championship. She went 33-0 and did not allow an earned run all season. She is the Nebraska high school record-holder for single-season ERA and strikeouts, and career no-hitters and perfect games.

Mullin hit .489 with 25 RBIs and 19 stolen bases as a junior in 2004. Although she will play outfield for the Huskers, Mullin has also put up impressive numbers in the circle. She owns a career record of 21-1 and went 15-0 with a 1.02 ERA as a junior. Mullin has never hit below .415 in a season and hit .511 with 31 RBIs and 21 stolen bases as a junior. Mullin is also a three-time first-team East Valley Tribune 2A-4A honoree and was named to the Arizona Republic’s first-team All-State team in 2004 and small school first team in 2002, 2003 and 2004. She was also the Republic’s 2004 small school player of the year and was named the All-East Valley 2A-5A Player of the Year.

Pascale was a first-team all-state selection as a junior and a second-team all-state selection as a sophomore. She earned third-team all-area honors as a freshman and was a first-team all-area and all-conference selection as a sophomore and junior. Pascale was also a Chicago Tribue special mention all-state selection as a sophomore. As a freshman, Pascale led Lincoln-Way East High to the Illinois Class 2A state title, batting .280 with 12 RBIs, six doubles and three triples. Off the field, Pascale has served as the class president since her sophomore year and has been named to the honor roll all four years of high school.

Carwile is a three-time American Softball Association All-Star first baseman selection. She has led Don Lugo High in home runs, RBIs, batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage in each of her first three seasons. She was named a first-team all-league selection in her freshman and junior seasons and earned first-team All-California Interscholastic Federation and All-Inland Valley honors as a junior. As a sophomore, she was a first-team Division II All-CIF Southern team selection. In the classroom, Carwile was named a Renaissance Scholar Athlete as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

Revelle on Hill: "Molly's statistics speak for themself. But what is not written is her plan of attack that is already set in motion to continue to get better and stronger everyday. I have never met a high school senior that is more self-motivated, focused and a task-master like Molly. I truly believe Molly will achieve every goal she creates for herself, and the Huskers will be the benefactor."

Revelle on Mullin: "Meghan is an exciting offensive player who has the ability to reak havoc with the opponent's defense. Her speed plays into our style of play--fast and aggressive. She plays the game with a lot of energy and is very excited to wear the Husker uniform."

Revelle on Pascale: "Britt is smooth under pressure. Whether it is at the plate or behind the plate, Britt wants to be the one with the game on the line. She is a tenacious competitor who I know I would always want on my team."

Revelle on Carwile: "Crystal is someone who cannot get enough of the game. She is a lefty power hitter who looks forward to winds at Bowlin Stadium as she plans to take advantage of them. She not only hits for average, and RBI production, Crystal can get the ball out of the park in a hurry."
