Huskers Return to Practice

Lincoln - The Nebraska football team returned to practice and began its off-week workouts Tuesday afternoon with a two-hour workout in full pads inside Memorial Stadium.

The Huskers will have plenty of time to heal up over the next week, as they begin preparations for their regular-season finale on Nov. 26 against Colorado.

"We gave them Sunday and Monday off, and they’ll have some time off at the end of the week, too," Defensive Coordinator Kevin Cosgrove said. "We’ll start preparing for Colorado, and we’ll practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week, but then they’ll have time to rest at the end of this week."

Cosgrove said that after studying game film, he is impressed with Buffaloes quarterback Joel Klatt.

"I think he’s very good," he said. "He doesn’t make very many mistakes. He’s doing a nice job."

NU will continue its preparations for CU with an afternoon practice on Wednesday.
