Coaches Update

Greetings Husker Fans!

 

This is the first edition of Husker Webscene.  Some of our parents thought it would be nice to keep up with team even though they are out of state.  What a great idea!  We will do our best to keep our fans updated each month as we get ready for an awesome 2005 season.  After all, Husker fans are the best fans in the nation, and we want to keep you informed!

 

Official practice has started, and the girls are working hard each day to prepare for the 2005 season.  What an amazing team we have here!  They work so hard in the classroom (striving to win the prestigious Herman Award for the second year in a row), they work hard in gym, and then they still find time to give back to the community.  The team will be involved in three or four community service events throughout the month of October, and many of the girls take time on their own to work in the community. 

 

The weather here in Lincoln has cooled a bit as a sign that fall is on its way.  Pumpkins are out, leaves will soon be changing, and the holiday season is approaching. What a great time of year!  Before you know it, 2005 will be here and your Huskers will be on the road competing in a city near you. J We hope to see you all out cheering on this outstanding team!
