Arlington, Texas ? Sophomore Chad Steele (Omaha, Neb.) was selected to the Big 12 all-tournament team following Sunday’s Big 12 Tournament title game. Steele, the only Husker selected to the 13-person team, led Nebraska with a .400 average, going 4-for-10 with a pair of RBIs. Steele, who finished the regular-season on a six-game hitting streak, had two hits, including a key two-run single, in the Huskers’ 5-2 opening-round win over No. 1 Texas.
