Halvorsen Honored in Mother of the Year Contest

Lincoln - Julie Halvorsen was the named the Coachcallahan.com Mother of the Year on Saturday. Her and her son, Wade, will have lunch with Coach Bill Callahan at the Embassy Suites on Sunday. Halvorsen was chosen by a panel of football coaching staff moms. Her son, Wade, wrote the winning letter which can be found on Coachcallahan.com. His letter was picked among several dozen entries submitted to the website over the last week.
