Lincoln -- Tickets for the 2003 NCAA Division I Volleyball Regional at the NU Coliseum Dec. 12-13 became available for purchase Monday. All-session reserved tickets for the two-date event are $26, while all-session general admission tickets are $18.
Nebraska season-ticket holders were given the option to buy tickets earlier this year, and approximately 600 tickets remain for the regional at the 4,030-seat NU Coliseum. Tickets can be purchased online at Huskers.com, or by calling the Nebraska ticket office at 1-800-8-BIGRED.
Nebraska is one of four pre-determined host sites for this year’s NCAA Division I Volleyball Tournament. The other host schools are Florida, Hawaii and Long Beach State. The regional semifinals at NU will take place Friday, Dec. 12, at 4:30 and 7 p.m., while the regional final will be Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.
The 64-team field for this year’s event will be announced Sunday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. live on ESPNEWS. The Huskers (25-4) could host the first and second rounds (Dec. 4-7) if they earn a top-16 seed.
