Jacobson Announces 2004-05 Signees

Two tennis players have signed national letters-of-intent to join the Nebraska women’s tennis team for the 2004-05 season, NU Coach Scott Jacobson announced Wednesday. The class includes Imke Reimers of Papenburg, Germany, and Ellinor Zugner from Vastra Frolunda, Sweden.

Reimers is ranked the 97th-ranked women’s player in Germany, while Zugner is ranked ninth in Sweden in her age division and 74th among all women in the country.

"Both Imke and Ellinor will come in and challenge for a spot in the top half of the lineup right away," Jacobson said. "Both are good people who believe in our team philosophy. They will be great additions to our program."
