Colbert Intercollegiate Final Round Cancelled

Manhattan, Kan. -- The final round of the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kan., scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled because of inclement weather. The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes and yesterday's results are final. Nebraska finished fifth in the eight-team field with a team total of 601.

The Jim Colbert Intercollegiate marks the second time in four tournaments this fall Nebraska has had the final round of a tournament canceled due to weather.

Nebraska returns to action next Monday and Tuesday when it takes part in the 49er Collegiate Classic in Charlotte, N.C.
