Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska women's basketball team will play two Big 12 Conference games on Fox Sports Net national television broadcasts this season, the conference office announced Wednesday.
The Huskers' first appearance on Fox Sports Net will come with one of the marquee home matchups of NU's league season, when the Huskers play host to 2003 NCAA Tournament qualifier Kansas State at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m.
Nebraska has won six of its last nine meetings with Kansas State, including a 67-52 win over the nationally ranked Wildcats at the Devaney Center in front of a Fox Sports Net national audience on Feb. 10, 2002.

Husker fans will have a chance to catch Nebraska on the road in a Fox Sports Net broadcast at Iowa State on Saturday, Feb. 21. Tip-off time against the Cyclones has been set for 1 p.m.
Nebraska's televised games highlight a strong regular-season schedule that features 12 games against nine teams that advanced to NCAA or WNIT postseason play in 2003.
The Huskers, who begin fall practice on Saturday, Oct. 18, open the exhibition season at the Devaney Center on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2:05 p.m. against Nebraska-Omaha, before taking on Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 7:05 p.m. at the Devaney Center.
Nebraska opens regular-season play by taking on Wofford on Friday, Nov. 21, at 7:05 p.m., before closing its opening home weekend against Princeton on Sunday, Nov. 23. NU opens Big 12 Conference play at Oklahoma on Jan. 7.
Overall, Fox Sports Net is scheduled to televise 18 regular-season Big 12 women's basketball games this year, along with the final seven games of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Tournament at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas.
