Big Red Football Preview Party Set for Tonight

Lincoln -- Husker fans will have an opportunity to meet the 2003 Nebraska football coaching staff on Thursday, Aug. 21, as the NU Athletic Department will sponsor a Big Red Football Preview Party at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The Devaney Center opens at 6 p.m. with the program scheduled to start 7:30 p.m.

The event will feature Athletic Director Steve Pederson, Head Coach Frank Solich, Offensive Coordinator Barney Cotton and Defensive Coordinator Bo Pelini along with special appearances by the NU Yell Squad and Lil' Red and a live broadcast of Sports Nightly. Jim Rose will host the event and introduce the new voice of Memorial Stadium, Patrick Combs.

Two packages of tickets are available for the event, a $20 all-access pass that includes food from local restaurants and a chance to meet the Husker coaches, as well as 1995 Unitas Award winner Tommie Frazier during a special social hour beginning at 6 p.m. The program pass - $5 for adults, $3 for children aged 12 and under and free to UNL Students with a valid ID - includes the scheduled program and concessions will be available for purchase on the concourse.
