Lincoln - Four lucky Husker fans were honored Monday afternoon, as Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson announced the winners of the Husker Season Ticket Holder Online Challenge.
The contest was open to all fans that renewed their 2003 football season tickets through Huskers.com, and the grand prize winners were randomly selected among all of the contest entries.
Warren Urbom of Lincoln and Robert Travnicek of Long Beach, Mississippi, each won a pair of 2003 football season tickets, while Donald Sievers of Elkhorn and Susan Moore of Omaha won the other grand prize, a one-year membership to the Nebraska Champions Club, courtesy of the Nebraska Alumni Association.
The online challenge was one of several promotions through Huskers.com for the upcoming football season. In addition to the Online challenge, a football waiting list has been created for the upcoming season, give fans a opportunity to opportunity to watch the Huskers in action. As of Aug 4., 1,400 fans have received the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for an upcoming game this season through the online waiting list. Fans who wish to sign up for the waiting list can log on to Huskers.com and click on the ticket button at the top of the page.
