Padden, who is currently ranked No. 7 at 184 pounds, suffered a neck injury and Pummel who has shared time at 157 pounds, suffered a concussion and other injuries.
Both wrestlers are expected to miss Sat. December 28, double dual with Findlay and Nebraska-Kearney.
The Huskers are already without one of their top wrestlers in Justin Ruiz at 197 pounds. Ruiz has been out since Dec. 6 when he injured his hamstring at the Las Vegas Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev. Ruiz is expected to return to the Husker lineup in the next few weeks.
