Lincoln Super Regional Sold Out

Lincoln Super Regional Sold Out
Lincoln - University of Nebraska Director of Ticket Operations John Anderson announced Tuesday afternoon that this weekend's Super Regional match-up between Nebraska and Richmond is officially a sellout.

Approximately 8,400 all-session tickets have been sold for the series between the Huskers (45-18) and Spiders (52-11) that will determine one of the eight berths for next week's College World Series in Omaha. Anderson said that the 4,500 available tickets, which included tickets returned by Richmond as well as all of the general admission seats, were sold in just 26 hours following the NCAA's selection announcement Monday afternoon. More than 2,100 of the tickets were sold over the internet on the Athletic Ticket Office website, while the rest were sold over the phone and in person. While the event is officially a sellout, there are five suites remaining, and they can be rented by calling the Lincoln Saltdogs' office at 474-2255.

All three games, including the if necessary game on Sunday, are scheduled for 1:05 p.m., and will be carried on the radio on the Pinnacle Sports Radio Network, including KLIN - 1400 AM in Lincoln, KFAB - 1110 AM in Omaha and KRVN - 880 AM in Lexington. Other Pinnacle Network stations carrying this weekend's Super Regional include: KRGI - 1430 AM (Grand Island); KGFW - 1430 AM (Kearney); KODY - 1240 AM (North Platte); KHUB - 1340 AM (Fremont); KNEB - 960 AM (Scottsbluff); KCOW - 1400 AM (Alliance) and KTNC- 1230 AM (Falls City). As of Tuesday afternoon, no television station has contacted the NCAA regarding television broadcast rights for the Super Regional.
