Fayatteville, Ark. -- Nebraska sophomore diver Jerilyn Drummond finished seventh on the one-meter at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in Fayatteville, Ark., Friday.
The sophomore from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, earned a score of 250.10, but missed out on qualifing for the NCAA Championships.
Despite not qualifying for the NCAA meet, diving coach Jeff Bro was pleased with Drummond's performance.
"Jerilyn dove well today," Bro said. "Unfortunately, it just wasn't enough to get her into the NCAA meet."
Drummond will look
to rebound on the three-meter springboard, beginning Saturday at 9 a.m.
