Huskers Finish 11th at Minnesota Invitational

Minneapolis -- The University of Nebraska swimming and diving team finished 11th at the 12-team Minnesota Invitational this weekend in its first action of the season.

Susan Walker recorded her second top-25 finish of the meet Sunday afternoon. The junior from Plano, Texas finished 21st in the 1,650-yard freestyle in a time of 18:03.28.

No. 15 Notre Dame wrapped up the team title with 1,039 points, while Wisconsin (711.5) and the host Golden Gophers (608) rounded out the top three.

Nebraska is next in action on Nov. 30, as the Huskers travel to Austin to compete at the Texas Invitational.
