Following a 3-2 victory at USC on Sunday, Sept. 9, in the Los Angeles Coliseum, the Nebraska women's soccer team (3-0-0) jumped up one spot to No. 3 in the NSCAA Poll, released Wednesday, Sept. 12.
Defending national champion North Carolina (3-0-0) remained in the top spot, while UCLA (4-0-0) still sits at No. 2. The Huskers jumped ahead of Notre Dame (3-0-1), which tied Wisconsin, 2-2, on Friday, Sept. 9. Notre Dame fell to No. 4. Wisconsin (2-1-1) cracked into the poll in the No. 23 spot. Portland (3-1-0) rounds out the top five.
Among other Big 12 schools, Texas A&M (1-1-0) remained at No. 10, while Texas (0-3-0) fell from No. 17 to No. 24, following a loss to then-16th-ranked Stanford. All three Longhorn losses have come to ranked teams.
