Dallas -- Nebraska's Alecia Ingram was honored for the second time this season as Big 12 Gymnast of the Week for meets participated in from Feb. 6-12.
The freshman from Knoxville, Tenn., captured her fourth all-around title of the season while helping lead the Huskers to a quadrangular win over No. 10 Penn State, No. 17 West Virginia and James Madison on Feb. 10.
Ingram recorded a 39.60 in the all-around, her second-highest score of the season, and the second-highest total in the Big 12 this year. She also won the beam with a career-high tying score of 9.925 and tied or set personal-bests in two other events with a 9.90 on bars and a 9.925 on floor. Her scores helped propel Nebraska to a school-record team score of 197.050 and a school-record score of 49.60 on uneven bars.
Nebraska, which remained at No. 6 in this week's NCAA poll released Monday, will host the Masters Classic on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Pershing Auditorium. Participating teams include No. 13 LSU, No. 18 Denver and North Carolina State.
