A two-time All-Big Eight performer for the Huskers, Jan Stanard claimed her first conference award as a sophomore in 1981. The Aurora, Neb., native competed in all 28 rounds for the Huskers in 1980-81, finishing with a team-best 80.89 stroke average. She added the second All-Big Eight honor of her career in 1983, when she helped guide Nebraska to its second Big Eight title.
