Owusu Paces Huskers at Prairie Wolves Invitational

Lincoln, Neb. -- Nebraska senior All-American sprinter Lesley Owusu notched an NCAA automatic qualifying mark in the 400 meters (53.00) and ran a provisional qualifying time in the 200 meters (23.86) as the Huskers continued Big 12-meet preparations at the Prairie Wolves Invitational in the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday.
Owusu, who won both the 200- and 400-meter dashes Saturday, has posted automatic qualifying times in each of the three 400-meter races she has competed in this year. She ran the nation's second fastest 400-meter time (52.72) this season on Feb. 3.
Also recording provisional qualifying marks for the Huskers were senior Erin Wibbels, who placed second in the 20-pound weight throw with a mark of 58-11
