Arlington, Texas -- The University of Nebraska earned its third straight win with a 12-4 victory over Washington State in the Arlington Morning News Invitational in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday. The Nebraska offense, which struggled in its first four outings, erupted for a season-high 17 hits and 12 runs over the Cougars. Sophomore shortstop Will Bolt led the way, tying a career high with four hits in the ninth spot in the order, while Justin Cowan hit his first homer of the season and finished with five RBI.
