Lincoln - Jed Morris went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs, lifting No. 15 Nebraska to a doubleheader split against Kansas Sunday afternoon at Hawks Field. Morris drove in a career-high five runs, including an eighth-inning grand slam, as the Huskers won the nightcap, 9-1, after falling 14-3 in the opener.
The split left the Huskers (30-15) in second place in the Big 12 standings with a 14-10 record, as NU travels to Big 12 leader Texas, who completed a three-game sweep of Oklahoma State, next weekend.
