Metcalf Leads NU Volleyball Team to 3-1 Win at Missouri

Columbia, Mo. -- Nancy Metcalf posted her ninth double-double of the season to lead the No. 2 Nebraska volleyball team to a 23-30, 30-25, 30-21, 30-21 victory over Missouri Wednesday night at the Hearnes Center. Metcalf pounded a match-high 23 kills and added a team-best 13 digs, along with three service aces, to help the Huskers improve to 18-1 overall and 11-0 in the Big 12 Conference.
Amber Holmquist added 16 kills and hit .600 for NU, while Jenny Kropp tallied 13 on a .375 hitting percentage. Lisa Morris posted 15 for Missouri, which fell to 16-6 overall and 6-6 in the league.
