Metcalf, Kropp, lead NU to Sweep of Colorado on Senior Night

Lincoln, Neb. - The No. 2 Nebraska volleyball team celebrated senior night with a 30-23, 30-17, 30-24, win over Colorado Wednesday before 4,223 fans at the NU Coliseum. In their final regular-season home match, Nancy Metcalf led the Huskers with 15 kills on a .406 hitting percentagewhile adding nine digs, and Jenny Kropp led NU with seven blocks and added seven kills on a .636 hitting percentage.
The Huskers honored Metcalf, a 6-foot-1 right side hitter, and Kropp, a 6-2 middle blocker, in a ceremony following the match. NU Director of Athletics Bill Byrne also presented Nebraska with the 2001 Big 12 Conference trophy. The championship is the Huskers
