Lincoln --- Steffon Bradford scored five of his 12 points during a 13-2 second-half run as Nebraska defeated Kansas State, 81-72, in front of 9,083 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Saturday evening.
Leading 55-53, Bradford's layup triggered the spurt which carried Nebraska (10-10 overall and 3-4 in the Big 12) to a 67-55 lead en route to its third win in the last four games. Bradford, who also finished with 10 rebounds, recorded his seventh double-double of the season.
The win was also the 253rd for Nebraska Coach Danny Nee, who tied Joe Cipriano
