Four Husker Women Post NCAA Provisional Marks at UTEP

Redshirt freshman Jennifer Cowher placed second in the discus (169-5) with her first ever NCAA provisional qualifying mark, while three other Husker women recorded provisional marks at the UTEP Invitational in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday. Cower, from Alliance, Neb., finished second to All-American Rhonda Hackett of Georgia, who posted a mark of 172-09.
Leann Boerema, another Husker redshirt freshman, also placed second to Hackett in the shot put. Boerema tossed her fourth provisional mark of the season (49-6
