Christine Latham, Breanna Boyd and Erin Miller were all named to the 2002 Preseason All-Big 12 soccer team released Friday.

 

A two-time Big 12 Player of the Year, Latham has received all-conference accolades in each of her first three seasons at Nebraska.  The Calgary, Alberta native has led the conference in points, goals and shots over the past two seasons.

 

At defender, Boyd was named to the preseason list after garnering first-team All-Big 12 honors over the past two seasons. Boyd, another Calgary, Alberta native, helped Nebraska post a 1.16 goals-against average and seven shutouts in 2001.

 

Miller, a Sioux Falls, S.D. native, was the preseason Big 12 pick at goalkeeper after a strong performance in her first season in goal in 2001. She led the conference in saves last season with 106.
