Lincoln, Neb. -- Nebraska outside hitter Anna Schrad and NU middle blocker Melissa Elmer are among the 20 collegiate volleyball players who have been invited to train in the USA Volleyball National A2 Program, the organization announced Wednesday. Schrad, a 6-foot-2 junior from Lincoln, Neb., has trained extensively with the USA Youth National Team, while Elmer, a 6-2 redshirt freshman from Fort Wayne, Ind., will be particpating for the first time.
