2017-18 Senior
Transfer Brianna Lashway made a notable impact on the 2017-18 Husker Women's tennis team on both the singles and doubles courts.

The Bradenton, Fla. native joined the Huskers for her senior season after spending her first three seasons playing for Missouri. Lashway thrived during her short time at Nebraska where she combined for 24 total wins, including 7 singles victories and 17 doubles wins during the spring. She took over the role as Nebraska's number 1 singles player in 11 matches throughout the season, coming away with 4 victories at that spot. In number 1 doubles play, Lashway posted 17 wins with partner Paula Del Cueto Castillo.

Lashway chose to play for the Huskers after also considering Washington, Oklahoma State, and Maryland.

Before Nebraska
Lashway produced three sucessful seasons with the University of Missouri, amassing 86 combined career wins in singles and doubles for the Tigers. As a junior in 2016-17, Lashway earned a 19-20 combined singles and doubles record, playing primarily out of the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Thirteen of those 19 wins came during a strong fall campaign. Lashway’s sophomore performance earned her a 38-40 overall record, including an 18-22 mark in singles play and a 20-18 record in doubles action. The 2016-17 season also saw Lashway and doubles partner Bea Machado Santos ranked as high as No.73 nationally in the Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Doubles Rankings. As a freshman, Lashway went 29-33 overall during her first collegiate season, including a 17-20 record in singles play at the No.4 position and a 12-13 record in doubles action. Lashway graduated from Florida Virtual High School.
