Haymarket Park

Baseball Game Day Information

Bringing alcoholic beverages into Haymarket Park is prohibited. Intoxicated guests will not be admitted at any time and are subject to ejection from the stadium grounds. Guests may not exit the facility with alcoholic beverages.

Nebraska and Federal Law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of twenty-one (21). Therefore, guests are required to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages at Haymarket Park. The number of alcoholic beverages served may be limited to two drinks per person, per purchase. Management reserves the right to refuse service to guests who appear intoxicated or who are disturbing other guests. Alcohol sales are discontinued at the first pitch of the top of the 8th inning. We encourage guests to drink responsibly and not to drive after drinking.

Entry/Exit Policies 

Re-entry is NOT permitted at Haymarket Park.

As part of our ongoing effort to enhance our fan experience and improve safety at all of our venues, we are excited to offer a convenient way for fans to access tickets and parking passes for every Husker home event directly on their smartphone. Nebraska Athletics offers contactless entry into all venues.

Tickets can be accessed via their Huskers ticket account on a web browser or through the Nebraska Huskers mobile app. To save time at the venue, fans are encouraged to save tickets and parking to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps prior to arrival on game day.

Parking will be available in various surface lots surrounding Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. Lots 19, 20 and 21 are available for Nebraska Baseball fans.

Media and VIP parking passes will enter Lot 20 from the Southeast entrance of the parking lot via N 4th St.

Pinnacle Bank Arena Festival parking is subject to availability.

Hawks Field at Haymarket Park is located at 403 Line Drive Circle, Lincoln, NE 68508.

  • From Interstate 80: Take exit 401 for I-180 E toward downtown, then take the W Cornhusker Hwy exit and go west. Take the first left, at the light, ontoN. 1st Street, then follow the curve left onto Charleston Street. Turn right at the light onto Sun Valley Boulevard, then turn left at the next light onto Line Drive.
  • From Southwest Lincoln/Hwy 77: Follow Highway 77 until taking the West O Street/US-6 exit and heading east. Stay on West O Street for about a mile and a half, then turn left at the light onto Sun Valley Boulevard. Turn right, at the second light, onto Line Drive.
  • From South Lincoln/Hwy 2: Follow Highway 2, and continue as it curves northwards and becomes S. 10th Street. Continue north for about two miles, then turn left at the light onto O Street. Travel over the bridge, then turn right at the second light onto Sun Valley Boulevard. Turn right, at the second light, onto Line Drive.

Each ticketed attendee will be allowed to enter with one (1) clear plastic bag. Fans will be able to carry the following styles and bag sizes into Nebraska's athletic facilities:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags. The bag cannot be larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
  • Exceptions will be made for approved medical needs items after proper inspection.

The University of Nebraska Reserves the right to examine any bag/container brought into the stadium. Only clear tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” will be allowed into ticketed Nebraska events. Code of Conduct

Nebraska Baseball along with the Big Ten Conference and NCAA are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience by promoting good sportsmanship through its athletes, coaches, and spectators. We encourage the spectators to support your team in a positive manner while at the same time showing respect to the participants, team personnel, officials and other spectators in attendance.

- Fans can enjoy the baseball experience free from fighting, throwing objects, attempts to enter the playing field, political or inciting messages and disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racial, obscene or abusive language or gestures.

- Guests are encouraged to report any disruptive behavior to the nearest event staff member or may report the issue via text message to 402-472-0800 (please include your location and a brief description of the issue).

- Fans shall conduct themselves in a lawful manner to avoid incidents in the stadium and in the parking lots.

- Nebraska Athletics reserves the right to deny or immediately revoke admission to any guest that does not comply with these guidelines, or otherwise detracts from other guests' enjoyment of the game.


Ejection Policy

Fans that refuse to follow the direction of the Event Staff or designated security officials, or fail to comply with the Fan Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund, revocation of season tickets and may be in violation of city ordinances, resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.


Emergency and Evacuation Procedures

Please report an emergency to the nearest Event Staff representative. In the event of an evacuation, please listen to the direction of the Public Address Announcer, Event Staff and/or scoreboard instructions.


First Aid

Emergency Medical Services are located on the concourse level behind Section 100.


Gates

Gates are open 90 minutes prior to first pitch for general public.

Scouts and guests on the Player-Guest Pass List will be permitted entry two hours and thirty minutes prior to first pitch. Scouts and guests must use the Pass List Entrance.

Fans may enter using the first base gate, grandstand entrance, or center field entrance.


Guest Services and Lost & Found

On game day, found items can be located inside of Haymarket Park at the grandstand entrance. Please contact an Event Staff supervisor to claim a lost item. Items can be claimed during the weekdays by contacting the Athletic Events office at (402) 472-1003.


Photography

Limited use of cameras and portable radios are permitted. Flash photography is prohibited. Game action may not be filmed and consideration of other spectators is expected.


Prohibited Items

Alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, bags not conforming to the clear bag policy (see bags & bag search), coolers, chair backs, noise makers, glass bottles, cans, video cameras, banners/flags on poles, use of selfie sticks and open umbrellas. Consideration of other spectators is expected. With the passage of the concealed weapons law in the state of Nebraska, fans are reminded that concealed weapons are not allowed on the UNL campus and are prohibited at all collegiate sporting events. At the discretion of game management, other items are subject to being prohibited.

Smoking/Tobacco Use

Smoking is permitted in designated areas at Hawks Field. Designated smoking areas are on the concourse level near the left field restrooms and behind the Home Run Terrace under the scoreboard. Any form of electronic cigarette must use the designated smoking areas.

Tailgating

The University of Nebraska promotes responsible tailgating. Please be considerate of those around you. Intoxication can lead to denied entry into Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.

ADA

  • If you need any assistance during the game, please ask any event staff member.
  • Accessible Seating Areas – Concourse level behind Sections 100-112. Club level behind Section 301 or 302. General admission seating at the top of the berm areas.
  • Assistance Animals (also called Emotional Support or Therapy Animals) are not considered service animals under the ADA. These animals are prohibited from entering all UNL Athletic Facilities.
  • Elevator – An elevator is available for use inside of Haymarket park on the North side of the facility behind Section 101.
  • Parking – ADA parking stalls are located in Lot 20 and 21 on a first-come, first served basis. ADA hang tags or license plates must be clearly visible to all parking attendants.
  • Service Animals – service animals are permitted but must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the individual's disability prevents using these devices.


Assistive Listening System Equipment

Equipment is available inside of the Haymarket Park Press Box located behind Sections 300 and 302.


ATM

An ATM is available for use behind Section 103. Most Haymarket Park concession stands and merchandise stands accept all major credit cards.

Concessions

General concession stands are located along the concourse level behind Sections 100, 107 and 108. Specialty items and other ballpark novelty stands are located throughout the concourse level.

The Diamond View Lounge is located behind Section 301 and is for Club Level Ticket Holders only.

Most general concession stands accept all major credit cards.

Flying Objects/Foul Balls

Fans should be alert at all times for bats and balls that could land in the seating areas. Nebraska Athletics prohibits guests from throwing any object onto the field or interfering with the ball in play; offenders will face immediate ejection from Haymarket Park.

In the event a game is canceled or 5 innings of the game are not played (except when the home team is in the lead at the end of 4 1/2 innings), your ticket to that game is good for general admission seating to one of the remaining regular-season home baseball games.
