Junior (1984-85)
Janet Houston earned letters for Nebraska in 1983 and 1984, competing in six rounds with an 87.17 career stroke average. She earned a roster spot for the Huskers as a junior in 1984-85, but the Minden, Neb., native did not compete and did not earn a letter in her third season.
Sophomore (1983-84)
Houston earned her second letter at Nebraska after competing as an individual at the Mizzou Invitational during her sophomore season. She posted a three-round score of 263 in Columbia, Mo., that included a season-best 86 in the second round.
Freshman (1982-83)
Houston earned a varsity letter in her first season as a Husker, competing as an individual at the Iowa Invitational during Nebraska's spring break trip. Houston fired a career-best 260, including a career-best 83 in the opening-round.
