2016-17: Senior

Veteran Lisa Andersson played out of the No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 spots in the Husker lineup and amassed 13 wins as a singles player. She picked up two singles victories in Big Ten play. As a doubled player, she made a significant impact, totalling 17 wins out of all three positions for the Huskers. She accumulated four wins in Big Ten play and earned all wins with seven different partners. 

Off the court, she earned Academic All-Big Ten, and was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. Lisa Andersson graduated in spring of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. 

2015-16: Junior
As a junior in 2016 spring, Lisa Andersson played out of the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 spots in the Husker lineup. She accumulated a 10-12 singles mark and went 3-8 in the Big Ten, while earning an 11-9 doubles mark. She went 4-4 in Big Ten doubles play.

Andersson played a majority of her matches at the No. 3 spot as a junior, after playing primarily at No. 5 singles as a sophomore for the Huskers. She went 6-8 at No. 3 during the 2016 spring campaign.

Anderson teamed up with Maggy Lehmicke and Mary Hanna during the spring season, going 10-9 overall with Lehmicke, including 4-4 in Big Ten action. Anderson went 1-0 paired with Hanna.

Off the court, Anderson earned academic All-Big Ten honors and claimed a spot on the 2016 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She also was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2016.

2014-15: Sophomore
In her sophomore season, Andersson continued making impacts in the Huskers lineup, playing the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 spots through the spring campaign. She gathered a 12-11 singles mark, going 2-9 in Big Ten action while earning an 18-5 doubles mark, going 10-1 against Big Ten opponents.

Andersson played the majority of matches at the No. 5 spot, accumulating a notable 9-4 mark. Andersson's efforts were highlighted by her nine-match hot streak between Feb. 8 and March 8, with all but three matches being won in two-sets.

Andersson teamed up with Maggy Lehmicke for the majority of the spring season where the duo gathered an impressive 15-4 mark, going 10-1 in Big Ten action. The pair had an eight-match hot streak between March 6 and April third where they grabbed wins over six different Big Ten opponents and three nationally ranked teams.

2013-14: Freshman
Andersson was an instant impact on the Huskers lineup as a freshman in 2014. Andersson played from the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 positions in singles and the No. 2 and 3 spots in doubles. Andersson paired with Brittany Brewster for her first two doubles matches at the No. 2 before dropping to the No. 3 to partner with Hannah Sulz for the remainder of the campaign.

Andersson finished the season with a 6-18 singles overall with a 6-12 spring mark and didn't win any of her seven Big Ten matches. She was most successful at the No. 4 spot where she finished 3-3. In doubles, Andersson put together a 7-18 overall, with a 5-13 spring showing and 0-6 in the Big Ten. 

Andersson helped the team to earn its fourth-consecutive Herman Award for the highest cumulative team GPA out of all women's sports at Nebraska. She claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2013-14.

Before Nebraska
Andersson was ranked No. 7 nationally in her age group and No. 34 overall in Sweden. Andersson was a Swedish National Team Championship finalist and a National Team Championship Doubles runner-up.

Personal
A native of Varberg, Sweden, Andersson is the daughter of Christina and Michael Andersson and has one brother, Marcus, 17. Lisa is a good friend of former Husker Wiveca Swarting. Lisa majored in marketing and earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2017. She earned academic All-Big Ten honors in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She was a six-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, and claimed spots on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2016 and 2017.
