2024 (Senior)
Lucy Stanhope competed in two meets for the Huskers before suffering a season-ending injury at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. Before she got injured, she posted season-highs of 9.825 on vault, 9.725 on beam and 9.850 on floor.
Junior at Utah (2023)
Lucy Stanhope joins the Huskers after spending three seasons at Utah. Stanhope helped the Utes to a third-consecutive Pac-12 title and the third-consecutive third-place finish at the NCAA Championships. She finished 4-for-5 on hit routines, adding to a career total of 61-for-64 hit routines as a Ute.
Sophomore at Utah (2022)
Stanhope received first-team All-Pac-12 honors on vault, competing in every meet on the event. She added six floor routines during the season, hitting 22-of-22 routines for the Utes. She scored a career-high 9.95 on vault against UCLA, claiming the event title. Stanhope helped the Utes to a second-consecutive Pac-12 title and a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Stanhope also earned WCGA Scholastic All-America and Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll honors.
Freshman at Utah (2021)
Stanhope started on vault every meet for Utah. She added floor routines at 12 meets, beam at 10 meets and competed on bars once. Stanhope hit 35 of her 37 routines with the Utes, helping Utah to the Pac-12 title and a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
Before College
Stanhope trained as a member of the Great Britain National Team prior to her collegiate career. She earned a silver medal with Team England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Personal
Lucy is the daughter of Warren and Wendy Stanhope and has one brother, Lewis. She graduated from Bridgewater High School and trained at City of Liverpool Gymnastics. Lucy is studying psychology.
