Indoor: Finished 10th in the pole vault at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a mark of 16-4 (4.98m)...posted the top vault in the Big Ten during the regular season, a personal-best 17-5 (5.31m) to win the Tyson Invitational...also won the pole vault title at the Mark Colligan Memorial.
Outdoor: Finished second in PV at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 17-1 (5.21m), earning Second Team All-Big Ten...competed in eight outdoor meets.Â
2015 (Junior/Redshirt)
Indoor: Placed fourth at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the pole vault with an indoor-best 17-1 1/2 (5.22)...finished the season by winning the Nebraska Tune-Up by clearing 17-0 3/4 (5.20)...opened the season with third-place finishes at the Holiday Inn Invite and adidas Classic and a runner-up finish at the Mark Colligan Memorial.
Outdoor: Redshirted...competing unattached, set a personal best of 17-1 3/4 (5.23) to finish third at the Nebraska Invitational.
2014 (Sophomore/Junior)
Indoor: Registered a personal-best height of 16-11 (5.16) in Arkansas at the Tyson Invitational in a third-place showing...recorded a pair of runner-up finishes at the Mark Colligan Memorial and the Nebraska Tune-Up...battled to an eighth-place finish in the pole vault at the Big Ten Indoor Championships after clearing 16-9 1/4 (5.11).
Outdoor: Set a new personal best in the pole vault of 17-1 (5.21) at the Kansas Relays...vaulted 16-8 3/4 (5.10) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships to place eighth...finished 25th at the NCAA West Prelims...earned academic All-Big Ten honors...named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll both semesters and the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2013 (Freshman/Sophomore)
Finished eighth in the pole vault at the 2013 Big Ten Indoor Championships, recording a vault of 16-9 1/2 (5.12)...posted an indoor personal-best mark of 16-10 3/4 (5.15) at the Mark Colligan Memorial...finished eighth in the pole vault at the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 16-7 1/4 (5.06) on May 12...participated in seven meets for NU during the 2013 outdoor campaign...recorded both a personal and team-best height of 17-0 3/4 (5.20) in the pole vault competition at the NCAA West Prelims in Austin on May 25...notched a top finish in the pole vault competition clearing 16-8 3/4 (5.10) at the Crimson Tide Invite on April 6...picked up another pole vault victory at 17-0 (5.18) in the Nebraska Quad meet on April 13...earned his third outdoor top finish at the NU-hosted Pre-Drake meet on April 24...named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar after earning academic All-Big Ten honors... claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.
2012 (Redshirt/Freshman)
Competed unattached during the 2012 indoor season...set an indoor personal-best vault of 15-11 (4.85) at the Holiday Invitational on Jan. 14...also competed in the NWU Invite, the Frank Sevigne Invitational and the Nebraska Tune-Up, where he posted a mark of 15-10 1/2 (4.84)...recorded an outdoor personal best of 16-6 3/4 (5.05) at the K.T. Woodman Classic on April 14...finished 14th in the pole vault at the 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Championships, recording a mark of 16-3 1/4 (4.96)...recorded a vault of 16-6 at the Nebraska Mini Meet on April 25...was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll both semesters.
Before Nebraska (Minden)
Came to Nebraska after competing for Coach Shawn Wheelock at Minden High School... claimed the 2011 Class B state pole vault championship...came in second as a junior and third as a sophomore...tied for fifth all-time in the state with a 16-0 pole vault...was a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll and graduated with a 3.98 GPA.
