Senior (2014-15)
Palmer did not compete for the Huskers during the 2014-15 season.

Junior (2013-14)
Palmer did not compete for the Huskers during the 2013-14 season.

Sophomore (2012-13)
Palmer joined the Huskers before the spring season and competed in the first two events in February. Palmer went 0-2-0 at the Big Ten Match Play before tying for 88th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. He showed successive improvement in each round at the tournament, carding scores of 85, 80 and 75.

Before Nebraska
Palmer spent one season at Arizona State before transferring to Nebraska. While with the Sun Devils, Palmer competed in seven tournaments, earning a 76.45 stroke average over 22 rounds. His best finish was a tie for 21st at the San Diego Intercollegiate.

Prior to college golf, Palmer played at Hamilton High School in Gilbert, Ariz. His team won the 5A1 state title three consecutive seasons, as he garnered runner-up honors in 2009. In addition, Palmer won the 2011 Thunderbird Arizona High School Senior Classic at Gainey Ranch Golf Club Dunes.

Personal
Cameron is the son of Missy and Rick Palmer and has two siblings, Ryan and Jacqueline. Cameron was born on March 17, 1993, and is majoring in political science and finance. A three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2014, 2015, 2016), Palmer added a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award for his outstanding contributions to the community in 2015.
