Before Nebraska 

A graduate of Smithville High School, Brenna Hartzler was an eight-time JTBA champion, a nine-time MJMA U20 champion and a three-time Great Lakes Junior Gold Tour champion. As the top recruit in her class, Hartzler is a two-time Ohio Pepsi District Champion, a five-time NWIJTPA champion and was named the NWIJTPA Player of the Year for the 2020-2021 season. During the 2021-2022 season, Hartzler was named the MJMA and JTBA Player of the Year, and most recently, she was crowned the MWUSA Mixed Doubles Champion. Hartzler has a high series of 761 and has bowled four perfect games (300).

Personal 

The daughter of Al and Julie Hartzler, Brenna’s intended major is Broadcasting. She has one sister, Brittany. Brenna chose Nebraska over Arkansas State, Davenport and McKendree.
