2015-16: Senior
Dusty Boyer completed his senior year season going 19-5 in the spring while going 7-2 in the Big Ten. All 24 matches were played in the No. 1 position.

His total in doubles is 16-3 with 6-3 in the Big Ten, playing exclusively in the No. 1 position. His doubles matches were played with his brother Toby Boyer, then a freshman on the Husker's 2015-16 squad. 

“Dusty is a great kid on and off the court,” Nebraska Coach Kerry McDermott said. “He is learning that if he can improve his focus on the court and stay more intense that great things will happen in his future. Dusty and Marc (Herrmann) are our building blocks to this program, and we look for great things from both these guys to carry Nebraska tennis with respect in the Big Ten and nationally.”

2014-15: Junior
Boyer captured first-team All-Big Ten honors on the court for the second straight season by posting a combined 34 victories, including 21 in singles and 13 in doubles.

He went 21-12 in singles action, including a 14-8 record in the spring with a 7-3 Big Ten mark, while playing exclusively out of the No. 1 position.

In doubles play, Boyer produced a 13-17 overall record while competing alongside Bradford Zitsch and Linus Erhart. Boyer also teamed with fellow senior Marc Herrmann for one match. Boyer played primarily at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles on the year.

2013-14: Sophomore
Boyer produced one of the best individual seasons in Husker history on his way to first-team All-Big Ten honors. He notched a 25-15 singles record that included a 16-9 mark in the spring, playing almost exclusively out of the No. 1 spot in the NU lineup. He went a solid 6-5 in Big Ten singles play. His 25 singles victories tied for the fifth-best total in Nebraska history. His singles season included a 13-match winning streak.

Boyer also enjoyed success on the doubles court for the Big Red, posting a 19-13 overall record that included a 15-8 spring mark. He went 6-4 in Big Ten action.
Also a standout in the classroom, Boyer earned academic All-Big Ten honors for the first time in his career.

2012-13: Freshman
Boyer went 19-16 in his first season with the Huskers, including a 12-11 spring mark and a 3-8 Big Ten record. Boyer played in the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 positions for the Big Red.
Boyer played a lot of doubles matches in his freshman year, going 14-13 overall, including an 11-9 in the spring and 5-5 in Big Ten play.

Before Nebraska
Boyer finished his senior year at Forest Lake High School with an impressive 30-0 record and his fourth state title. He closed his prep career with a 129-1 singles record. He was the first player in Minnesota history to claim four state singles championships.

Personal
Dusty is the son of David and Gina Boyer. He was born July 2, 1993 in Grand Forks, N.D. Dusty has a younger brother, Toby, who is a freshman on the Nebraska men’s tennis team in 2015-16.

A communications major at Nebraska, Dusty earned his bachelor's degree in May of 2016. He was a three-time academic All-Big Ten choice and a five-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. He also earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2015.
