2023: Appeared in 51 games, making 40 starts in his lone season with the Huskers. • Hit .295 at the plate with five doubles, two triples and seven home runs. • Tallied 36 RBI and scored 30 runs. • Posted a .403 on-base percentage and a .500 slugging percentage. • Recorded 12 multi-hit performances, including one three-hit game. • Had seven games with at least two RBI, including two games with three RBI and a pair of games with four RBI. • Compiled a season-high three hits with a 3-for-4 performance with a double, two RBI and three runs scored against Northern Colorado. 

Before Nebraska: Fischer joins the Huskers after playing four seasons at Southern Miss. • Appeared in 101 games, making 83 starts for the Golden Eagles. • Totaled a .280 batting average with 20 doubles, two triples, nine home runs, 56 RBI and 44 runs in four seasons. • Had eight hits, three doubles, a triple, four RBI and five runs in 2022. • Voted C-USA first team at designated hitter and garnered a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-South region first team in 2021. • As a junior, batted .304 with seven home runs and 37 RBI. • Added a team-high 46 walks to rank first on team with a .467 on-base percentage and collected 13 multi-hit games. • Led the team in hitting with a .322 batting average, five doubles, a triple, two home runs and 14 RBI in a shortened 2020 season.
