Before Nebraska

  • Wrestled three seasons, including a redshirt year, at Fort Hays State, and went 54-14 combined in his freshman and sophomore seasons
  • Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships in 2017
  • Won a total of five open tournament titles, including the Northern Colorado Open as a sophomore in 2017-18
  • Won the OCU Open, Northern Colorado Open and UNK Holiday Open as a freshman in 2016-17
  • Won the Luther College Open as a redshirt in 2015-16
