1995: Senior Season
A first-team AVCA All-America setter for the second straight season, Christy Johnson helped fuel Nebraska's run to the school's NCAA Championship in 1995...played 103 games and 32 matches during her senior season...earned first-team AVCA All-American Honors...named first-team All-Big Eight and to the AVCA All-District 5 Team...helped Nebraska to second in the State Farm-NACWAA Classic, while being named to the all-tournament team...named to Asics/UOP Invitational All-Tournament team...Named Tournament-MVP while leading Nebraska to first place in the FirsTier Challenge...averaged 0.73 kills per game and recorded 262 digs...tallied 22 service aces on the season, averaging 0.21 per game...led Nebraska with 1,432 assists, averaging 13.90 per game...led Nebraska to a first-place finish at the Wyoming Inviational while being named to the all-tournament team...was named to the Big Eight All-Tournament team...earned Central Regional and NCAA Championship all-tournament team honors...led the Big Eight in assists per game (13.90)...tallied 3,183 career assists as a Husker...named second-team CoSIDA Academic All-American and Phillips 66 Academic All-Big Eight.

1994: Junior Season
Started every match and played almost every minute of each game...earned first-team All-America honors at setter, where despite playing just seven four-game matches and no five-game matches, ranked seventh on the Big Eight single-season assist list with 1,490...earned All-Big Eight and All-Midwest Region honors...named MVP of the Huskers' season-opneing tournament at Purdue...was a member of every all-tournament team...established a Big Eight single-season record with 14.18 assists per game...averaged 12.39 assists per game in Big Eight matches only...ranked fourth on the team with 0.27 service aces per game (28)...fifth on team with 0.51 blocks per game...totaled six solo blocks and 46 block assists on the season...in the first match of the season against Oregon State, had 60 assists, three shy of tying the three-game match record set by Lori Endicott...had 30-or-more assists in all but one match...career-high 74 assists against Penn State...had 71 assists in the conference tournament championship match vs. Colorado...had a career-high six kills against Penn State in the final match of the year...hit for a positive percentage in all but one match...tied her career high with four service aces against Kansas State...her .343 hitting percentage was fifth on the team among the regulars...earned first-team Academic All-Big Eight honors for the second consecutive season.

1993: Redshirt
With All-Big Eight performer Nikki Stricker at setter, Johnson elected to redshirt her junior season...did get court time during the summer as one of four Huskers who participated in the 1994 U.S. Olympic Festival.

1992: Sophomore Season
Was a key player in Nebraska's drive for its 17th straight Big Eight championship...played in all 28 matches and for her contributions to the team's success, was voted Big Eight Conference Backcourt Specialist of the Year by the league coaches...took over the NU setting duties in the first-round match of the NCAA Tournament and posted a then-career-high 55 set assists to lead the Huskers to a four-game victory against Colorado, which allowed Nebraska to advance to the Mideast Regional semifinals...finished the season with 233 set assists, 24 service aces, 15 blocks and 109 digs...posted a 3.8 grade point average in mathematics and earned both Phillips 66 Academic All-Big Eight and classroom honors...traveled to Europe with teammate Allison Weston as part of U.S. National "B" Team.

1991: Freshman Season
Saw action in 28 matches and 57 games as the Huskers' backup setter...had six service aces, 33 digs and two blocks.

High School:
Considered by many national services as the nation's top incoming freshman setter...joined the Nebraska volleyball team following an outstanding career at Millard North High School...a two-time all-state selection, she led her team to the 1990 Nebraska Class A state championship and was then named the captain of the U.S. Junior National Elite team...was a National Honor Society member and voted the Millard North Female Athlete-of-the-Year two times.
