2012-13 (Senior)
Ariel (AR-ee-el) Weech led the Husker sprint freestyle corps to new heights as a senior in 2012-13. After posting the second-fastest 100-yard freestyle time in Nebraska history (49.13), Weech earned sixth place at the Big Ten Championships, the second-highest place ever achieved by a Husker at the meet. Weech also set a career best in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing 12th and becoming the only Husker to ever earn two top-12 finishes at the meet. Her time of 22.81 in the event was the third fastest in Husker history.

However, Weech’s greatest success may have come in her efforts on four relay teams that set school records at the conference meet. Along with Hayley Martin, Taryn Collura and Shannon Guy, Weech helped to swim record times in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:30.11), 400-yard freestyle relay (3:18.10), and 200-yard medley relay (1:39.13). In the 400-yard medley relay, Weech and teammates Martin, Guy and Ashley Reiter swam a record time of 3:39.36.

In the classroom, Weech earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2013.

2011-12 (Junior)
Weech spent much of 2011-12 competing with the Bahamian National Team, but she still contributed for the Huskers. Weech raced in eight total events for the Huskers in 2011-12 and tallied five top-two finishes and three event titles. She also swam her way to what was then a Nebraska career-best time of 50.16 in the 100-yard freestyle.

In the classroom, Weech earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2012.

2010-11 (Sophomore)
Weech continued to perform at a high level for Nebraska with 13 top-five finishes, including five event victories, as a sophomore. Weech set the then-fifth-fastest time in NU history in the 50-yard freestyle at 23.05. She was also a part of three relay squads that earned spots among the top-five relay finishes in history (200- and 400-medley, 400 freestyle) at the time. The 200-yard medley relay team swam the then-fastest relay in school history (1:41.08) with Weech as the anchor leg.

Also a standout in the classroom, Weech earned second-team academic All-Big 12 honors in 2011.

2009-10 (Freshman)
Weech produced nine top-five finishes, including two event victories, as a freshman for the Huskers. She performed well at the 2010 Big 12 Championships, earning an 11th-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.39. She also finished the 100 free with a time of 51.60 for a 20th-place conference finish. Additionally, Weech competed in the 100-yard backstroke (58.75) at the Big 12 Championships.

Academically, she earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2009-10.
