2023 (Senior)
A College Soccer News Women’s National Team of the Week member, Nicola Hauk, a constant in the Husker backfield, helped Nebraska to seven shutouts, while individually scoring three goals and recording two assists. Hauk started each of the 24 games, compiling 2,132 minutes. She recorded finishes in NU’s wins over Eastern Washington (Aug. 24), Gonzaga (Aug. 27) and Missouri (Aug. 31), while also taking six shots (three on goal). She helped NU to its program-best third-trip to the Elite Eight and a Big Ten regular season title.

2022 (Junior)
Hauk had a breakout newcomer campaign as she started 19 games this season and totaled 1,701 minutes. She was fourth on the team in minutes played, behind only Sami Hauk, Lauryn Anglim and Sarah Weber. As a constant in the Husker backfield, Hauk helped Nebraska to five shutouts, while individually totaling four shots and two shots on goal.

Before Nebraska (Delta State):
Hauk spent two seasons at Delta State University under Coach Mark Hiller. In 2021, she started in all 18 games as a defender and helped DSU finish third in the Gulf South Conference. Hauk finished second on the team in minutes and tied for fourth with two goals.

High School:
Hauk attended Kurfurst-Friedrich Gymnasium and participated in soccer and volleyball.

Personal Information:
Nicola is the daughter of Monika and Egino Hauk and was born on Sept. 18, 2002. She has one brother, Bernhard, and is majoring in sports media and communication.
