2022 (Senior)
Kynsee Roby was a consistent contributor throughout the 2022 season. Roby competed in all four events, matching her career-high on vault and winning the title, in the win against Iowa State. She added a 9.875 on bars and a 9.850 on beam against Iowa. In the win against Illinois, Roby added a 9.800 on bars and a 9.850 on beam. Roby claimed the beam event title at the Masters Classic after notching a 9.900.Roby competed on uneven bars (9.800) and beam (9.800) at the Denver quad meet. Roby finished the season at the Big Ten Championships, competing on uneven bars (9.875) and beam (9.850). Roby finished tied for sixth on beam. 

2021 (Junior) 
Roby had an impressive junior campaign competing in all 10 meets during the 2021 season. Roby was one of six individuals to qualify for the NCAA Regionals and competed for two events. Roby earned a 9.870 on beam and a 9.800 on bars at the NCAA Regionals. Roby's two new career highs came against Michigan (Feb. 15) on bars with a score of 9.925 and against Rutgers (Feb. 7) on beam with a score of 9.950. Roby was successful in the classroom, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors and spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both semesters of 2020-21. Roby was also honored for her leadership and dedication to serving others earning the Sam Foltz Hero 27 Award and a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. 

2020 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Roby returned to Nebraska’s lineup after redshirting with an injury that kept her out the entire 2019 season. As a redshirt sophomore in 2020, Roby competed five times on beam, including a season-high 9.850 at Minnesota (Feb. 16). She also notched a season-high 9.750 on vault against the Golden Gophers. It was one of three times Roby competed on vault during the season. Outside of the gym, Roby earned WCGA Scholastic All-America honors for the third consecutive season, while claiming her second Academic All-Big Ten award. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the third time.

2019 (Redshirt)
Roby redshirted for the Huskers while recovering from an injury in 2019. She contributed in the classroom by claiming her second WCGA Scholastic All-America award. She also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and captured spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. She was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the second time.

2018 (Freshman) 
Roby opened her career as a two-event specialist on bars and beam before beginning all-around competition midway through the year. In her first collegiate meet, she scored 9.900 on bars and 9.825 on beam at Penn State, helping her to a Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week honor (Jan. 16). She hit a season-high 9.90 on beam at Florida while also competing on bars and floor. Roby erupted in the all-around at the Big Five Meet, hitting a then-career-high 39.350 with career highs on vault (9.800), bars (9.900) and floor exercise (9.825), while adding a 9.825 on beam. At regionals, Roby set a new career high with a 39.425 in the all-around and matched her career high with a 9.80 on vault. Roby got off to an excellent start in the classroom as a WCGA Scholastic All-American. She earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters and was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
Roby was a Level 10 gymnast at Triad Gymnastics in Ankeny, Iowa, following former Huskers Danielle Breen and Sierra Hassel in training under coaches Tom and Donna Moretti. Roby was a 2016 J.O. National qualifier, earning second-place finishes on bars and in the all-around, while finishing third on beam and floor. A talented beam worker, Roby won 14 beam titles in her club career, including a beam title at the 2015 J.O. National meet. She also won Region 4 titles on bars and beam in 2015, as well as a Region 4 beam title in 2013. She also qualified to J.O. Nationals in 2013. Roby won a pair of state championships in her club career, taking the bars and beam titles at the Iowa State Championships in 2016, as well as the beam title at the 2012 Kansas State Championships. A 2017 graduate of Valley High School, Roby chose Nebraska over Oklahoma, Denver, Missouri and Iowa State.

Personal     
The daughter of Joe and Kyetta Currier, Kynsee was born on Nov. 25, 1998. She has a step-brother, Cameron, and a step-sister, Corinne. A nutrition and health sciences major, Kynsee is a two-time WCGA Scholastic All-American. A 2022 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, she is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten choice. She is a nine-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. A Sam Foltz 27 Hero Leadership Award winner in 2021, she is also a five-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
