2019 (Sophomore)
Matt Waldoch joined the Huskers as a walk on in September to add kicking depth to the roster, and he finished the year as Nebraska's starting place-kicker. He did not play in the first 10 games of the season but had an impressive debut as Nebraska's starting place-kicker against Maryland. Waldoch scored 15 points against the Terrapins, connecting on all three of his field goal attempts and each of his six extra-point tries. His performance earned him the start the next week agaisnt Iowa, and Waldoch connected on a career-long 41-yard field goal agains the Hawkeyes, while making all three of his extra-point tries.

Before Nebraska (Geneva HS)
Waldoch was a Nebraska student for two years before joining the football team. He played both football and soccer for Geneva High School in Illinois, playing his final football season in the fall of 2016 and his final soccer season in the spring of 2017.
