1971: Senior Season
In his final season as a Husker, Dick Rupert earned third-team All-American and All-Big Eight honors...helped Nebraska lead the league in passing offense (179.3 yards per game)...helped Nebraska rank second in total offense (437.7 yards per game) and scoring offense (39.1 points per game)...recognized as an Academic All-American in 1971.

1970: Junior Season
Transfered from Harbor J.C. (Los Angeles) and became a star in 1970, boosting NU's offensive line in dramatic fashion...helped Nebraska lead the Big Eight in scoring offense with 37.2 points per game...led Nebraska to second-place ranking in passing offense (189.1 yards per game) and total offense (421.3 yards per game).

Harbor J.C. (Los Angeles):
Spent freshman and sophomore seasons at Harbor J.C. before transfering to Nebraska...earned all-state, all-america and all-league honors at Harbor.
