Brig Banks has yet to play in a game this season.

2020 (Junior)
Banks was the veteran on a young Husker long-snapping unit in 2020. He brought experience to the position but did not play in a game.

2019 (Sophomore)
Banks, who joined the Nebraska team during fall camp, sat out the season as a transfer and added depth at the long snapper position.added depth at the long snapper position in his first season at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska (St. Thomas HS/Henderson State)
Banks transferred to Nebraska after spending two seasons at Henderson State following his high school career. Banks redshirted as a freshman at Henderson State in 2017 and added depth to the Reddies' defensive line in 2018. Banks played his prep ball for St. Thomas High School in Houston. He was a two-time all-district selection and served as team captain his senior season.

Personal
Brig was born on Aug. 10, 1998, and he is the son of Todd and Randa Banks. He is majoring in supply chain management and is on track to earn his degree in December of 2021. Banks has volunteered his time with the Day of Service and local hospital visits. Brig's younger brother, Brant, is an offensive lineman on the Husker football team.
