2020: Gareth Stroh started two games on the mound before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Went 1-0 with a 6.10 ERA across 10.1 innings and racked up eight strikeouts, while allowing only one walk • Earned the win in Nebraska’s season opener at Baylor, tossing 5.1 innings and tallied four strikeouts • Threw 5.0 innings at San Diego on Feb. 21 and notched four K’s.

2019: Stroh sat out the 2019 season after transferring to Nebraska from Purdue.

Before Nebraska: Stroh played two years at Purdue (2017, 2018) after spending his first year of collegiate baseball at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas in 2016 • While with the Boilermakers, he went 10-6 with a 4.34 ERA in 32 appearances with 86 strikeouts over 159.2 innings • As a junior in 2018, he went 5-2 with a 4.93 ERA in 16 starts, recording 33 strikeouts in 69.1 innings • Earned third-team All-Big Ten honors as a sophomore in 2017, going 5-4 with a 3.89 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 90.1 innings over 16 appearances • Earned a save in his lone relief appearance of 2017 • Threw a complete-game two-hitter against Illinois in 2017 en route to Big Ten Pitcher-of-the-Week honors • In 2016 at Coffeyville, he made 21 appearances, including 12 starts and recorded 67 strikeouts in 70 innings pitched • Earned academic all-conference honors during his time at Coffeyville • Graduated from Gibbon High School in 2015 as an honor roll student and National Honor Society member • Played summer baseball for Shelton/Gibbon Legion under Coach Paul Stroh.

Personal: Born on Oct. 22, 1996 • Parents are Paul and Deb Stroh • Has two brothers, Devin and Seth • Majoring in human development and family sciences.
