Raquel Orozco became an immediate contributor for the Huskers as a freshman in 2016-17, competing in nine of NU's 10 events. She posted an average of 202.3 in 21 games on the season, which ranks sixth among freshman in program history.
A standout off the lanes as well, Orozco got off to an excellent start in the classroom and the community, as she was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in fall of 2016 and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.
Raquel took some time out of her busy schedule to answer a few questions and give us a little insight into her life off the lanes.
