Huskers Honored at Postseason Banquet

NCAA Finalist TJ Dudley (184) took home a pair of awards at the Nebraska wrestling postseason banquet on Friday, April 1.

Dudley earned Most Outstanding Wrestler and Lifter of the Year after a 24-7 season that included him capturing his second career All-America honor. The junior from Irmo, S.C., took runner-up honors at the NCAA Championships and Big Ten Championships.

Senior All-American Austin Wilson (165) took home the Most Improved Award after finishing seventh at the national tournament. Wilson, making his fourth and final NCAA Championships appearance, earned a spot on the podium after going 4-2. Wilson compiled a 27-11 mark during his senior campaign.

Kris Williams (125) was named Redshirt of the Year after going 16-2 during his first year with the Husker program. Williams placed in all four tournament appearances, taking first place in three of them. He finished fifth at the Midlands Championships.
