Inner Circle Members Named to Franco?s List

On Tuesday, Nov. 10th, 29 students were named to Franco’s List and publicly recognized for their outstanding leadership, character and integrity. Sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Character Council, Franco’s List recipients are nominated by faculty, staff and other students.

Three members of Inner Circle, comprised of 2nd to 5th year student-athlete emerging leaders, were among those honored:

Freedom Akinmoladun, sophomore defensive end from Grandview, Mo.
Bria DeVeaux, senior swimmer from Nassau, Bahamas
Sam Foltz, junior punter from Greeley, Neb. 

“I was honored to be recognized for such an award,” said DeVeaux. “Knowing the positive example both Sam and Freedom set for their team and in hearing the accomplishments of the other students recognized, I was quite humbled.”
