January Employee of the Month - Will Sheppard

Will Sheppard was named the Nebraska Athletic Department Employee of the Month for January of 2011. Sheppard is the 14th winner of the monthly award and was selected after being nominated by a member of the Athletic Department staff.

Sheppard joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as an academic counselor and coordinator of multicultural programs in September of 2006. A native of Tyler, Texas, Sheppard had previously served as a residence director for UNL Housing.

 

Sheppard is the academic counselor for the Nebraska men's and women's tennis teams, the men's gymnastics team, the women's swimming and diving team and the rifle team.

 

Sheppard earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Central Missouri in 2003, and his master's degree in exercise science from the University of South Dakota in 2005.
